Studio Tylr is a Brooklyn-based interior design practice founded in 2022. We work closely with architects, contractors, and trades from the earliest stages of a project because good design doesn't happen in isolation. Every decision, from the furniture plan to the final light fixture, is made with intention. The spaces we're most proud of don't announce themselves. They feel inevitable, like they couldn't have been any other way.
We take on a limited number of projects at a time. That's deliberate. It means every client gets our full attention, and every space gets the consideration it deserves.
FOUNDER
Tyler Miller founded Studio Tylr after nearly a decade at Ashe Leandro, the AD100 firm known for its considered, unfussy approach to high-end residential design. That foundation shaped how she works: intuitively, collaboratively, and with deep attention to how people actually live in a space
She holds a BFA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and an Associate's in Fine Arts from the University of the Bahamas — a background in art that informs how she sees proportion, composition, and the way a room holds light. Growing up in the Bahamas gave her an early, visceral education in color, materiality, and the relationship between inside and outside, something that quietly shapes every project she takes on.
Over ten years of experience across residential projects of every scale. Tyler is based in Brooklyn, where she lives and works.
